Get to know your therapist
Abigail (Abby) Rutledge
Life can be overwhelming, and you don't have to navigate it alone. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, grief, life transitions, or simply feeling stuck, therapy can provide a safe space to heal, grow, and rediscover yourself.
With more than 15 years of experience in the counseling field, Abigail Rutledge, LPCC has supported individuals across a wide range of settings, including rape crisis centers, college counseling programs, and federal women's correctional facilities.
These experiences have given her a deep appreciation for the resilience of the human spirit and the many ways people overcome adversity.

I believe therapy only works if it's honest. I bring warmth, directness, and zero pretense into every session — you'll always know where you stand with me.
I've spent 15 years in the field, from rape crisis centers to college counseling to federal women's prisons. I've faced my own dysfunction, and I know what it's like to wonder, "Will it ever get better?" That's exactly why I don't do the gentle, hands-off version of therapy — I show up, I tell you the truth, and we do the hard work together.
My goal is simple: help you understand your patterns, your strengths, and your relationships — so you can build the life you actually want.

Mission
To help clients access the parts of themselves they didn't think were possible - through honest, relational therapy that empowers them to live the life they actually want.
Vision
To become the go-to therapist for women in California's rural North State navigating ADHD and high-functioning personality disorders and to build a practice where people learn to have more authentic relationships, with others and with themselves.
Our Values
Radical honesty. Unconditional positive regard doesn't mean I'll only tell you what you want to hear. I care enough to tell you the truth, even when it stings.
No blank slate. Healing happens through real connection. We tackle hard things together, using the therapist-client relationship itself to help rewire how you connect.
Anti one-size-fits-all. No canned CBT homework. Every client gets a process built around how their brain actually works.
Fearless, not soft. This isn't a gentle, pastel approach to therapy. It's direct, real, and built for people who want the truth over comfort.
